As an avid traveler with a penchant for unique accommodations, I was thrilled to discover Oak Tree Lodge during my recent stay in Devon. Tucked away in a tranquil rural setting, this charming 3-bedroom holiday home offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Upon arrival, I was delighted to find a spacious garden and free private parking, making it convenient to unload our belongings and settle in. the interior of the property was impeccably clean, with a cozy sitting area and a well-equipped kitchen complete with cookware and utensils. the flat-screen TV and free WiFi ensured we could stay connected, although the peaceful surroundings encouraged us to unwind and disconnect from the outside world. One of the highlights of our stay was the unique 2-level shepherd's hut, a true glamping experience that added a touch of whimsy to our holiday. the thoughtful amenities, including a fire pit and BBQ, provided the perfect setting for al fresco dining and relaxation. While we didn't have the chance to enjoy the outdoor space fully due to the weather, I could imagine it being a lovely spot to soak up the sunshine in the summer months. In terms of location, Oak Tree Lodge proved to be an ideal base for exploring the local area. Marsh Mills and Towels were both within a reasonable distance, offering opportunities for day trips and adventures. the proximity to Exeter International Airport was also a plus, making our journey to and from the property seamless. Overall, my experience at Oak Tree Lodge was nothing short of delightful. From the quirky interiors to the tranquil surroundings, every aspect of our stay was thoughtfully curated to create a memorable and relaxing retreat. I will definitely be recommending this hidden gem to my fellow travelers and look forward to returning in the future.
